[Aaron approaches the German Shepherd. He does keep some distance as he don't want to scare it off. he has a small smile as the other dog reminds him of his own German Shepherd]

Are you lost boy?

[Slight tailwag in greeting. Maybe not "lost", but definitely "ownerless". Not even a collar.]

[Slowly gets a bit closer. This human seems safe. Better to be a little careful, though.]

[Aaron sits down and keeps eye contact with the dog. He does notice there isn't a collar.]

It's OK boy, I won't hurt you.

[And there's slowly coming up to the youth, as though he understood what was just said. There is some more tailwagging in greeting. He is well in arms' reach at the moment, though.]

[Aaron extends his arm and pats the dog gently on it's head]

[Tailwagging and looking up at Aaron. He's totally going to stay here for awhile. Because it seems like this one might need his help, somehow. Maybe.]

[Aaron smiles at the dog. he has missed his dog since it died. He continues to pats the new dogs head and tickle it behind it's ears]

[Aaron chuckles slightly and wraps his arms around the dog.]

[Wagging tail slightly and staying pretty still for the hug, as most dogs will do. You're a nice human!]

[Looks at the dog]

Do you got an owner?

[The dog looks back at Aaron, headtilting slightly, ears perking up a bit.]

[He's not sure the dog does understand him but he has met stranger being around here]

Perhaps we shall find your owner then?

[Yup. Obfuscating stupidity is the answer in this scenario. Slightly uncertain tailwagwag.]

Perhaps we ought to place posters rather than run around?

[Gentle nudge at hand with nose? There's something about the look he's giving that's almost suggesting to not worry about it, but without the ability to speak, you can only convey so much.]
