Muse's thoughts on possibly going to
smashacademy
Dude...no. Two out of two, those games you put me in robbed me shitless. Don't get me wrong; a challenge once in a while makes life interesting, but I get enough of being short-handed by Lady. I don't need yo-
...
...so I get to keep my powers and stuff for once? And I can go home if I want to? You should've said that sooner; would've made shit real easy. Do me a favor and try to make me a teacher, okay? I might not be a good one, but I'm a worse fucking student and let's face it, I'm a little too old to be one.
So who's this "Django" kid you're thinking of sending me with? "Boktai?" The fuck is that?

Hnh. They only rely on you because you make it easy for them. And the demons target you because you let them.
[Case in point? Now you get summoned swords. It's pretty much like saying hello.]

Can't help it if they're drawn to my charms.
(Oh hey, he hasn't seen those in a while! He'll just have to swat those away with Rebellion as they come along. Can't have Vergil scoring a hit so soon, now can we?
Have a couple of bullets go your way, Bromato.)
no subject
[Well, at least he isn't rusty. And now Vergil is going to retaliate by catching the bullets and tossing them aside with his sword. The sword he then tries to cut Dante down with. Because this his how brothers say hello.]
no subject
(And by this, he means bringing Rebellion up in here. There will be no slicing Dante in half allowed! It's pretty intimidating when a guy can wield a claymore as efficiently as a guy can wield a katana...
...also, these brother are cooler than regular brothers since regular ones go for noogies and stuff. Sword fights are the way to go.)
no subject
[Ohai, Rebellion. Don't get to see that sword nearly enough. Vergil's blow is deflected, but he adjusts his footing and brings the katana up for another quick swipe across the middle as he attempt to catch Dante with a backstroke.
These brothers. They can't do anything the easy way. Not even sibling rivalry.]

(Well damn if that slice didn't closer than Dante wanted it to...because it did. Really, you're the only person who can make Dante bleed, Vergil. That's why he's going for more of a vertical downwards strike.
To them, this is probably their easy way of doing things. The day they settle their differences with video games is the day Capcom revives Megaman.
Oh snap)no subject
Also, he steps aside and kicks at Dante, since they are close enough for that.]
Well, I wouldn't want to be disappointed by you.
[Yeah, he's sneering now. This is better than decisions using a Foosball table, right?]
no subject
Well I'm glad we see eye to eye for once.
(Why yes, they are close enough for that! Thing is, Dante's getting vibes from when he fought that shadow version of himself and decides to match that kick with one of his own because hey, might as well make it that much more like a mirror battle, right?
But yes, this is way more fun than a Foosball table.Much more respectable since this is also the more manly approach. Old Victorian dudes settled problems with duels to the death, so technically, they're takin' it back. Aww yeah.)

It's the only thing we agree on.
[Vergil growls when Dante blocks him. Well, they aren't exactly mirror images of each other now, but the idea is the same. He throws a couple of fast punches from close range. It's almost like choreography, really. Like they are dancing in synchronized patterns, even though Vergil is trying to beat out Dante's ability to mimic him.
It's not fun unless you're risking a little life and limb, right?]
no subject
Yeah, Dante's a bit too old for this to count as a real mirror battle, but it's close enough! He's aged like wine...red wine, at that. Because red is classy like that. And the way they're matching blow for blow, one might have to wonder if they're just trying to impress people. Because damn if anyone can beat these two except each other.
Absolutely. Challenges once in a while make life interesting and no one puts up a challenge like the brothers can.)
no subject
But he does enjoy the challenge, and the only one that ever manages to give him a real challenge is Dante. So, really, no one can blame them for fighting this hard. It's the only time they're really going to feel pressured anyway.]
Not bad... for an old man.
no subject
Pressure is always good because at this point, Dante needs a challenge...also, way to low blow, bro. :|)
You're not too bad either...kid.
