[He feels it, of course he does. She left quite the mark on his snow pale skin as well. He merely blinks, brow raising as he stares her down.]

[Her wrist is caught in a flash. His lithe figure betrays his strength. He is still an immortal, as powerful as he is guarded.]

[She does, slowly. Looking up at him with disgust as she lowers herself to her knees. It's not exactly the most subordinate expression in the world, but for once, she holds her tongue from comment.]

[The smirk only widens, chin tilting only slightly to watch.]

[Breaking eye contact, Jane's face colors with shame and anger. She looks down at the floor now. One arm still held captive, the other hand rests on her leg, shaking with suppressed frustration.]

[Loki grins. He is hardly a man of his word, but he lets her wrist go, wiping his hands as if she'd dirtied him.]

You are hardly practiced. I must teach you further, soon.

[She takes a second to brush the corners of her eyes with her fingertips. Standing only once she's sure that she's not going to sniffle and ruin her resolve.]

[He grinned.]

[Crossing her arms, and wincing again when her wrist is tucked in close to her body.]

You've only shamed yourself. Do I look like a warrior? [Saying it doesn't exactly bring the moral victory she hoped for. She still feels as though she's let herself down.]
