[He laughs, too, but it's a bit nervous.] I think you're more forgiving. Not that dad's not, but... [Well, he worries more about Hakoda's disappointment. He doesn't see Kya being that way at all.]

But... you're just worried your father might end up more disappointed than anything.

[ Kya nods, her expression now somber. There's a twinkle to her eyes still but she completely understands why Sokka feels how he does, why he's worrying. ]

After everything that's happened, Sokka, you have nothing to worry about. Everything will be all right, you'll see.

[That's... really reassuring. He smiles, and this time it's an encouraging smile for his mother.] Yeah, you're right, it will be.

[He gives her a nudge with his elbow.] See, you answered your own worries there. You knew the answer all along.

[ Kya blinks as what he said dawns on her. She's laughing again and wrapping her son up in a big hug. ]

I knew my mun was right about you. Sokka the Wise.

[And he'll just nuzzle in close, feeling like he's a little kid again. Sokka lets out a long, cleansing breath.]

I've really missed you, mom. A lot. I'm glad we'll get to see you again.
