My mun may act like a sadist, but she's really good deep down. If something bad happens, it's almost guaranteed that she'll end up crying about it later.

Sometimes I wish we could pull others away from bad places like that and into better ones instead of letting the muns decide where to place us. I think we'd all be happier all around that way. [Or, if not that, that Rock could go to the bad places to help people. But he doesn't think mentioning that would be very cheery.]

Well, if Dad thinks the world can be a better place, then there's no reason to think it can't. We just have to keep trying for peace. We'll get there eventually.
