Because I've got a first assembly to put together, and you of all people know how much time that takes even without plus one-ing your Broadway star girlfriend everywhere. What do say, mun? Action-adventure, mostly. The occasional feel-good and... I don't know, I'm always a sucker for some good silent films.

Oh, you might see some of my work, then. I'm more interested in making mysteries or thrillers, but I'll probably end up doing action and comedies for the money and experience.

... This film I'm working on for class is shaping up to be a feel-good, though.

I'd probably see all your stuff regardless. You're one of Shar's friends, right? ["and love interest but I'm ignoring that part right now."] Any friend of hers is a friend of mine too.
