Yes, I realize it has 'been a while' as you say, but do you really think this 'Library' is really the best place to send me after such a long period of time?

Consider also the point of my timeline which you are seizing me from. My teammates need me in the 41st century-- as I believe you'll recall? Yes. Imperiex.

No, the Library is not a better use of my time and I don't have time for your game.

It'll be best for the both of us if we simply forgo the trivialities and allow me to return to my own world.

But I see that's not an option.

I will concede however it is possible that my abilities will be well utilized in such a place, but I can't make any promises at this time.

As have I. I've been fortunate enough to have been left alone for the past year.

I neglected to point out that I was also forced to post at a place based on human sexual acts. So given the choice I expect I will be much more inclined to stay at the library, power locks or not. The only truly fortunate thing I've got to look forward to is that my flight ring will still be functional.

What a coincidence; my mun is currently debating a similar setting for me--despite it conflicting with what she's previously stated as her interpretation of me regarding that subject. Frustratingly inconsistent, in my opinion.
[Hard to tell if he's more opposed to being considered for a sex game or to his mun's ever-flexible headcanon.]

As for anticipating future events, it appears I may have to brace myself for another Alignment episode. [The android looks like he wants to shrink his mun's city to keep in a jar.]

My mun has traditionally avoided those games for that very reason. However, and this is unfortunate, she seems to have changed her mind on the issue. Thankfully that particular game is noncommittal.

Hm. Have you figured out yet how to compensate for the energy surge? You should also consider that it may not effect you in the same way while in an alternate dimension.

Mine, as usual, is still in the process of making up her mind. It's entirely possible I won't have to worry about being sent there.

Honestly, I'm still confounded by the notion of it considering Colu (along with the rest of my universe) is supposed to have been destroyed upon my entry to this game.

It's--impossible to say. Any information I've received has been vague and disorganized thanks to the convoluted bureaucratic system on which my apparent new home operates. Whether or not it's even truly been destroyed is debatable, but either way, I am stuck there.

Everything on this ship seems to lack practical purpose, not to mention any efficient means of organization or control.

It seems I'll be having much the same problem at this Library. It's in high disrepair, and whatever seems to be running it is either disembodied or well hidden.

I'm almost certain of that. I will not have access to weapons systems while in the library nor may battle mode. While that does not make me helpless it does make dealing with these "monsters" as the mun describes them a fair deal more difficult.

"Monsters" sounds suspiciously fantastical. Don't tell me there's magic involved in this library?

I'm not certain what to make of it. Magic? Perhaps not.

Granted that there are those who claim to use magic, they are from alternate universes where such things are possible.

'Monsters' as a colloquial term and game jargon for any creature from the variety of universes from which the library has access to and have invaded the library at large. Most of which pose an immediate threat to the other inhabitants hence my use of the word.

That sounds somewhat similar to my current situation--though a little more tame. [And by "tame," he means less crack-y. He can handle danger better than the perils of a comedy-scifi setting.]

As for significant threats of course, I'd say a good number of my fellow refugees qualify.

That very well may be so. I doubt, however, that being chased from the monsters from various movies of the like that Bouncing Boy watches...

It makes thankful that there is a block to powers. Given my company there are a few I would be cautious of.

Regardless of the potentially dangerous powers of those around me, I much prefer they keep theirs if it means mine remain as well.
I'm not exactly comfortable with the idea of an unknown force affecting my abilities--considering certain... internal firewalls I'll need to maintain at higher security.

I understand completely. And while it is of considerable inconvenience, this power lock, the only solace I can take is that inside of a 'gate' the locks are removed.

Hm... That is a matter that I'm also... preoccupied with regarding my security though I don't foresee it being a major issue going forward.
