re: plots and things @ [community profile] abaxcity

I feel you are far too amused with these planned events.

There is little to find entertainment in. I will not grieve overmuch.

[LIES EOWYN EOMER WHY YOU GOTTA.]

Lord Legolas.

[ pause. ]I feel as though I ought to apologize for my mundane's actions and for causing you undue grief. It has never been my intention.

[ why, tho ]

You are truly fortunate to have been spared from it.

[ this she knows quite well, the feeling of being the one left behind. ]

I have been made aware that deaths in the city will not be permanent.

You do not? [ she knows very little about the ways of elves, after all. ]

No. It does not. [ she wonders, though, how elves spend all those years, and how much more difficult it is to lose their loved ones - not after spending so much time in their company. ]

Seven days. [ pause. ] It certainly makes death meaningless. Powerless, even.

Grieve? Why?

Is there any difference, if the grieving is done by a Hobbit or not?

Oi! But missing food is a serious matter! [ just so you wait until you've no food left, and then you'll regret not grieving over them :\

but yes, more seriously: ]
...Oh. I see. [ that is no laughing matter. ]

Oh, but grieving doesn't have to be overlong. Just a moment or two of silence over labor wasted, and then take action. [ of course, it always depends on the hobbit. it can take days. weeks, even, for some. lolj/k ]

...they come back from the dead? [ that concept is utterly terrifying tho ]

[ merry isn't one of those what are you talking about, he may take months especially if they are fruits of his almost non-existent labor. here he'll actually shake his head at legolas. disappointed hobbit is disappointed! ] Elves.

...and what do you mean, mostly?
