This was supposed to be an attempt at enabling more castmates...
You want me to do this? Because the last time you tried this you offered to let people taser me. I don't think so. Besides the only people I'd be okay with showing up is Rhodey and Banner. And Rhodeys are like unicorns. That's right cupcake, I called you a unicorn, what are you going to do about it?
And Banner, how the hell is there a nearly full team and the only one missing is the one I actually like? [Thor's okay. But SHIELD agents and star spangled war heroes do not want. He hasn't been canon updated yet, he's allowed to be unhappy with everyone.]
So instead I'm going to do something else. [Clears his throat.] The reason why Carter, Foster and Ross don't show up in the movie and Pepper does is because she's with me. Well other than the fact that Carter's probably dead or wrinkly, but my point still stands. Pepper is the best. [He would add girlfriend to that sentence, but he is weird about defining it out loud. It's just a stable(ish) relationship okay.]
The army of me's out there would agree with me. Only the best for the most important character.
