Dear, uh, Mun, was it? That's a very interesting name--short for mundane? Not many people choose to be referred to by a name like 'mundane'...

Uh, well, I guess that's something we could talk about later, right? It's just that I would, you know, like to talk about this whole 'playing with me' thing first. I can't say I entirely understand this concept of a 'muse/mun' relationship; if you're trying to control me, doesn't that require consent on my part? And if you want consent, really, there are more effective ways to gain it than just by abducting me. You could talk to me first, maybe--a sustained conversation, I mean, and maybe I would agree to it... just let me go and we can talk, okay? I know you're not trying to hurt anyone. I know that.

[He thinks his mun is an UnSub. And will fall for the 'totally playing along with your delusions now let me go plz' strategy.]

I-I don't consider you an UnSub! The UnSubs I work with can get violent. I know you're not a violent person.

[...It's hard to manipulate a mun like an UnSub, Reid. :| ]

Ah, you have headmates as well? Hopefully they're not too.. um.. irritating.

They have control over us and the situations they put us in, if that's what you mean.

Hmm. Odd headmates. I have the writer, whom you met, and a really cheerful girl who's a mechanic on a spaceship.

The muns are all different, though they have similar characteristics. Most of them are creative. They like to write. They like to tell stories. Sometimes though they're a bit twisted and enjoy sending us to places where... bad things happen.

Some of the "games" here are... different kinds of torture, to be frank. There are places where.. you have to have sex with someone or you die. There are places where you can get physically or mentally tortured. Sadistic.

Fortunately I have a nice mun who says I've been through enough torture in my canon so she generally puts me nice places. Well, she puts the writer and the mechanic nice places too. So I guess she's not that sadistic. The worst I've had to deal with is being separated from home and the team and fighting various monsters.

Unfortunately a lot of times these games employ some kind of magic or plot device which makes it impossible to resist. We can try, though. We can at least maybe make it better for ourselves and the other victims.

I've seen monsters of both kinds - the realistic and the fantastic.

Your mun isn't different than most then, honestly. I'd roughly estimate that 95% of them like to torture their so-called muses.
