Oh, you. Don't you think you can get all apologetic now. Sure, after all is said and done, you can act as upset as you want about it, huh, all your apologies and moping, right, doesn't fool me. Planned this right from the get-go, didn't you? Thought to yourself, "Oh, you know what'd be fun? Being terrible! Awwh, brilliant, can't wait, all this terrible we got planned out!" and talked about it with all your friends, waited until just the right moment, and BAM. Hit me right over the head. With your terrible.

What's that behind you? See it, there, on the floor? It's a line. And you've crossed it. You went too far and stepped right over that line, practically skipped over it, didn't think to give it a good look until now, did you? Wellllll, there's no going back. You're in Line Country, now.

But don't you worry too bad about it. See, good news is, you didn't exactly plan on Ol' Wheatley to be such a tough customer, did you? Thought it'd all come down once you had your fun. But look at me, now! I'm fine! I'm practically glowing. So you can mope and whine all you want. I've got things handled perfectly well here, thanks.
did_well_enough: ([Human] What...is that?)

If you'd rather have normal GLaDOS, I can bring her out.

Good God they're crawling out of the floorboards. Next thing we know this location will be drowning in stupidity and bad ideas.

Are you sure you're ok?

Fine. Not dead like they said.
did_well_enough: (Oh. It's you.)

Sorry, typo.

Oh good, I'm glad you're amused. Because right now, I'm a little angry. Not that I have a reason to be. It's not like you you ruined my facility. Or put me in a potato. Or caused me to get attacked by birds as a potato. Or almost get me killed.

[A beat.]

Oh wait, you did all those things. You know, if I was anyone else, I might hate you forever for that. Or just throw you into the incinerator.

But I'm the bigger person here.

Yes. Here with Eike.

Might have lied about going home. Might not.

Never meet again.

Or you might come back.

You know what, you are completely right, what was I thinking. It was an...enlightening experience.

So enlightening, in fact, that I think you should try it. Except with several birds, specifically the killing machines I've been training since you were gone.

Not sure.

I know why you did. Makes sense.

Still hurts.
did_well_enough: ([Human] You're annoying me now.)

[personal profile] did_well_enough 2012-05-17 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Difference: You had limbs to use to either fight or escape.

I was a potato.

[And there may be a giant claw heading towards you Wheatley, I'd get out of the way of that.]

Wouldn't come back if you could?
did_well_enough: ([Human] Even I smile sometimes.)

[personal profile] did_well_enough 2012-05-17 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
The only thing "unnecessary" here is you, Wheatley. Don't worry though, I plan on rectifying that.

[Successful dodge is successful, but it's not done yet. And now the claw's opening.]

Want?

I don't know. Maybe?

You would be free on earth.
did_well_enough: (Oh. It's you.)

I am so sorry for this

You know, it's funny. One minute you were talking very confidently and telling me to "go blow it out a wire" and then next you are running and screaming for your life.

Irony at its finest.
