That's the spirit! It'd take me a little time to set up Hero TV again, but so long as Tony remembers me, and I've got money in the bank left - and even if I didn't, really - we'll be doing fine! And I can introduce you to Kate, and Carol, and all the other lovely people in town! Can you believe that the idea of a hero TV show was new to them? Caught me completely by surprise!

... [ Nods and then smiles a bit. ] There's a Tony there? [ kinda shocked. not many tony's out there. ] We can try. She'll need to kick her ass into rewatching everything.

Mmm-hm. Tony Stark. He was the backer for my own take on Hero Tv. He's... a bit like me. Workaholic, and made his way to the top because of it. Loves a little spice in the nightlife, loves his fun and his excitement along with his work. Exceeept... he likes his spice a little more feminine. There's a lot of young heroes around there, as a matter of fact... after all, you can't be spending all your time with old girls like me, can you?

Oh, Karina, you spend so much time trying to be an adult before you're even there... you should really slow down and enjoy the time you have where you are.

No, I'm the adult, because the other options are Handsome - and he's always throwing hissyfits, honestly - Keith, and while he's a wonderful person, you have to wonder how... aware he is... and then Antonio. And Antonio... well, I worry about him. He's Kotetsu's closest friend, and... Kotetsu's never spending time with him!

Tony? Handsome, fit, charismatic, charming, bit of a daredevil... sometimes incredibly insensitive to others, little self-centered... but he means the best.

[Pao-Lin laughs as she pulls away.]

Yeah, you and Karina and Ivan and Keith and Mr. Bison! [One of these things is not like the other...] Mostly I just talk to Mr. Tiger and Mr. Barnaby, and they -- [She stops suddenly as unpleasant memories flood back into her mind. An uncomfortable look crosses her face for a moment.] Well, they usually talk to each other more, you know?

Antonio, sweetie. I'm sure he'd love being called Antonio. [Man he didn't spend all that time hanging out with him in a bar just cuz he liked his butt]

Oh, are they having a fight again? Those two... [He huffs out, dramatically. Chin on his hand.] Well, it takes them awhile, but they always make up..

Well, no, they haven't been fighting lately, at least not that I know of. [She doesn't talk to them often enough to know, though she supposes it'd be easy enough to tell if that were the case.] Mr. Barnaby was sent home last week, though, so now it's just...it's just me and Mr. Tiger. [And boy are things going to be depressing and awkward for the next few months or so.]

Oh... honey...

[He doesn't say anything more - just pulls Pao-Lin back into a second hug. Knew how much she wanted to be strong, independent, self-reliant, but, well... sometimes you just needed a huge, a shoulder to lean on.]

[Oh, Nathan, you don't even know the whole of it yet. Pao-Lin clings a little tighter to him. With Ginia gone from Luceti, she doesn't really have an older sister/auntie-type figure to lean on anymore, so something like this...well, too bad it's just a memethread, but it's better than nothing. She'll make it through the storm, of course she will, but...the ride's going to be bumpier than she'd like.

This time, she doesn't break the hug before she speaks.]

Hey, Nathan...do you think Mr. Tiger and Mr. Barnaby are...um...forgiving people? [Well, she suspects Kotetsu is. She's less sure on Barnaby.]

Kotetsu... the only person he has trouble forgiving is himself.

Barnaby... he has this... diamond hard exterior, because he feels he needs it. To be safe, maybe? Keep up a shield where the world can't hurt him? Could be. So when he is hurt, that shield goes up harder, because he doesn't want to feel that again.

It takes patience, calm, and understanding. But yes, he is a man who can forgive, if you're willing to give him the time he needs to do so. Honesty, genuine caring, and time - that's the key, there.

That is, if everything I've seen between him and Kotetsu is accurate...

[Forgiving himself, huh. Pao-Lin can understand that sentiment -- she's going through it a bit (or a lot) right now. And as for Barnaby...well, it was entirely possible that he might come back to Luceti and not remember anything. That was the nature of that game. But if he didn't...well, it's not like she and Barnaby were close or anything, but it still hurt to think she might lose the esteem and respect of another Hero, especially one like him.]

I see. [With that, she pulls away and gives a small smile up at Nathan.] So tell me about this game your mun is sending you to. [Topic transitions? Who needs those?]

Oh, I've been there before! Been a very long time away, and I miss it so - it's a city that brings in people from all over, and gives them all powers! It's actually quite complicated from there on out, but that's the basic gist of it!

Last time I was there, I created a hero TV of my own, made quite a few friends, and, overall, had a wonderful time, despite the troubles thrown our ways. And - here's a really incredible thing - I got to see real magic!

I've seen lots of magic where I am right now, too! But...you actually got to make HeroTV over there? We don't even have TV in Luceti... [Really, at this point, getting to make another version of HeroTV would be more impressive than the magic. She's just been without most modern tech for so long.]
