Oh! You're bored! So that means I get to have some fun, right, right?! There's all of these awesome new unexplored places here on 'DreamLand'! Hey! Do you think I'll get to fight something? There's gotta be someone holdin' out for a hero around here that needs me to get rid of some monsters!

So what about you, grumpy? You look like the adventuring type too!

Now that you mention it, you're actually just kind of. Quiet. Uh, not that there's anything wrong with that!

Anyway, yeah, adventure! You know! Raiding dungeons, fighting monsters, righting wrongs, finding treasure, saving princesses, that kind of thing!

[She's silent for a few seconds while she thinks about it.]

Monsters kind of... kill each other. When I'm around. Sometimes themselves, instead. Sometimes it happens to people, too.

...Huh? Why would they do that? You're quiet, sure, but it's not like you're annoying! Let alone so annoying I'd kill myself...

Oh, do you sing really poorly?

Because I tell them to.

...But people tell me it's bad, and I shouldn't do it.

It makes them go away, though. I like the quiet when they're gone.

Wow, you must be really persuasive! If you stick with monsters or bad guys then it should be okay!

Uh, you do only do it to monsters and bad guys, right?

I guess...

...Humans aren't good or bad. They're just humans.

Not by default, but anyone can be nice or mean! It's not right to kill nice people!

Even 'nice' people can be cruel sometimes. Even 'mean' people can be kind sometimes.

There's no difference. People are people... just like monsters are monsters. We do what we must to survive, and shun that which we cannot understand.

There is no 'good' or 'evil' in the world. The world just is. People are the same way.

So if you're not an adventurer, then what do you do? Besides talk to monsters which is kind of weird.

I eat... and sleep... I survive.

Sometimes people buy curses from me... when I need money.

You can buy curses? How's that work?

They pay me... And I make the curse for them.

Usually, it's putting poison on a weapon... or making someone fall asleep.

...little things like that.
