You know for someone who says I come from one of their favourite trilogies, you sure have a funny way of showing it. You're just like Julian, no - I can't believe I'm saying this considering everything he's done, but you're worse than Julian.

At least with Julian I had a chance of getting my freedom back, but with you? I don't like this, I don't like being your puppet. Aren't you supposed to be my friend? Aren't you supposed to help me? Why can't we be a team?

The difference between us, Jenny, is that I hold no illusions of my player and her intentions. Most of them line up with my own.

This is a game you cannot win with your mun.

I don't believe that. All games can be won, because if they can't be, it's not a game.

Even games with unfair odds are still amusement for the players with the upper hand.

[ jenny bit her lower lip. there is a tiny voice at the back of her head. a tiny voice telling her julian is right. a tiny voice telling her to just give in and she'll be happy. that her life would be more colourful than anything tom or anyone else could ever give her. ]
