Ah.. so you're sure you want to do this? I may have a pretty good lid on the other guy, but as you can see I sometimes-- /taps his glasses against his fingers, short laugh/ -- have problems when it comes to extreme outside stressors.

But Tony seems alright. He's going to keep trying to press my buttons, I know, but it'll be a good test for me. See how good I really am at keeping him at bay, and at the same time I'll get access to all his nifty toys. Pretty big leap from the Kolkata slums. Probably harder to tinker with clean energy technology and work on my gamma radiation studies, too.

What the hell. What's the worst that could happen?

'Improvement ratio' not really sure what that is but I'm guessing it's some fancy scientific term.

I appreciate the effort. Though I should warn you, I have a few lectures on socioeconomic improvement scenarios in various third world countries prepared if you don't meet the bar.

Ah, no but I do have the cynical, it sucks that there are kids dying of starvation in third-world countries but most of the rest of the 'civilized' world doesn't give a fuck and would rather spend their access money on ridiculous things like designer pet grooming. Does that count? [He quipped, masking his own deep-set anger with humor and sarcasm.]

You're completely correct. I spent the last few years with the very people you're referring to, helping lepers who couldn't get a decent meal, let alone any kind of care for their condition.

Too bad they aren't invading space aliens. /small smile/ Then we'd have government funding for a team of mutant freak shows to help them out.

So when do they nominate you for sainthood? [Clint had no problem with people who crusaded for a cause or to help end injustice and bring succor to those who needed it. But he knew his talents were better applied in other ways was all.]

And I happen to be friends with a couple of those 'mutant freak shows' so how about we tone down that kinda talk, huh? [Quicksilver was a royal pain in the ass but that didn't mean he was going to sit by and let people slander him or Wanda.]

I could be wrong here but I don't think that makes it okay to use those kinds of words. [He shrugged lightly, secretly glad Pietro wasn't around to hear this conversation because that would put a bug up the mutant's ass and they'd have to deal with his surlier attitude for days to come.] Besides, if his Royal Prissiness were to hear you we'd all be stuck listening to him yelp and whine for hours. It's not a fun sight, trust me.
