We pirates are the ones who kidnap people who hopefully have a lot of gold and maybe throw them into shark infested waters if they turn out to be too annoying. Not the other way around! So will you kindly take me back before my crew mates start thinking that they left me behind again?

And stop thinking about how "good" I would look with a scar. A pirate is not about getting mutilated to the point where you're own crew can't recognize you!
