Actually? I think I rather liked being kept in the back of your mind and completely ignored. It was a nice change.

Let's think about it this way. You and I both know you don't have time to do anything with me, and honestly, I'm not complaining. All I'm saying is that just because you're doing an entire re-read of the series doesn't mean you have to go and start obsessing over icons and canon points and layouts and--

Not really but I can have some peace in knowing that the members of my squad who survived did use what advice I could give them to protect themselves and save the world.

Trying to seal or remove an immensely powerful creature called the First Born. If it were to become free it would of conquered and destroyed the Earth in a matter of days, subjecting it and it's inhabitants to horrible things.

To give you an idea, it destroyed myself and two of my other friends with very little effort.

It is alright. It had to happen that way, that is to say I doubt there is any way around the fact that for some reason the First Born could kill me instantaneously.

Well not much, I don't read fiction that often. I know that the organization I work for looked at your writer though. The case written in your book while bordering on the fantastical did have one element mimicking real life in my universe. Your Uncle and Aunt are actually mild cases of abuse when it comes to not understand those with magical ability.

[He almost lets out a bitter laugh.] Yeah, I can see that. So what exactly does your organization do?

Some individuals consider their children or wards possessed and other start cults around him. In either case physical abuse does come along with the mental.

My organization tracks and discretely handles situations such as magical phenomenon to protect people and keep it a secret from the general public.

Your nemesis is not that different from people we face or well faced from time to time.

Our particular organization has been around since World War 2.

At least there are people out there working together to put an end to things. That's what's important.

I do feel sorry for those still alive, they won't ever be rewarded for their sacrifices.

So what happens to them?

Well they survived and reported back but that is all I know.

You haven't had a chance to speak to anyone else from the Organization in this place?

No one from Jericho is here, at all. It bothers my mundane because he finds our story inventive. He may not be the first to think of it but if he isn't he hasn't found anyone else.
