I know you miss playing me and re-reading the manga is only reinforcing that but I really don't think you would have time to play me in a game. Especially if the app you are working on for another muse gets accepted. Just stick to memes or make a musebox already.

They call the place Fake Central, it looks like Central but it's not. You wouldn't know the inn, it doesn't actually exist back home.

This is the only place I'm allowed to go, though. Apparently I couldn't pass one 'Activity Check' if I tried.

So your mun just has a bit of a hard time keeping you active? Would it help if they um, 'canon reviewed'?

[Pause.]

Fake Central? How do you mean it's...not? I don't think that sounds fair though, if you've never been in one of these games.

It's complicated [A handwave.] Mostly they need to hear to keep a voice steady, or however it works. They're real touchy on that whole original anime isn't manga isn't Brotherhood thing, so watching either series doesn't help with me much.

[Sigh.] Sure can keep plenty of others active though. Some 'cross-overs' too.

It's ... not Central. There's all sorts of versions of everyone from back home, some wizard version of me put up a sign explaining the whole thing to make it less confusing on anyone new. It's some creepy not-Central, weird stuff happens there and you can't just hop on a train and go home.

[A pause.] Well, they tried one of those games where dreams are stored or something, awhile back. Only lasted a few months.

Oh....mine has seen both and read all of the manga. It doesn't much bother her, really. She just likes to see others enjoying the series, whichever they prefer.

A wizard...? That's just...weird. But, you mean, like....a 'dressing room' thing?

Yeah, mine's got a few of us for every 'canon' but that other version [read: 2003 anime] seems to be the easiest to pull off for whatever reason. They're more frustrated about not being able to do much with me than I am about not getting out much, though.

[A shrug] And with how many others they have, there wouldn't be much time to fit me into one of those games anyway.

Yeah! That's what they call it, a dressing room. That's supposed to be Central. It's not so bad once you get used to it, as long as you don't eat at the inn.

They had an older version of me in this place that had this weird sort of phone called a- dreamberry. Sometimes they'd turn on during the night and record your dreams, I guess... Broadcast 'em sometimes, for everyone in the game to see too.

Just how many....? No wonder she doesn't have time to put you in a game.

What happens if you eat at this inn exactly....?

A dreamberry? Oh, that...'Somarium' place? Mun is looking at that one for one of her muses, depending if it becomes community-based with the move.

At last count he had 28 of me, alone. Which doesn't even include the versions of other characters he's got, headspace is pretty crowded.

A lot of alternates and cross-overs from weird 'AU' games, and dumb ideas they come up with just for this Central place. They even have a version that was raised by Hohenheim, really fond of that one for some reason.

[She keeps asking about the inn....] One time everyone wound up with cat ears. You know that other Sloth, right? Since your mun's seen all the series. Instead of trying to kill me and Al, she was hunting us down with baked goods one time... The place is real messed up.

I hope for their sake they have pretty standard dreams. He liked that game, considered going back with another me a few times- but it's probably better that he didn't. They're definitely juggling enough games as it is right now, anyway.

28 of you alone? Jeez. No wonder it would be crowded.

....That's just....creepy. [If it were Trisha it might have been funny, but Sloth....yeah.]

Well, I guess we'll find out. She's not sure yet if she will app her in. How many games is your mun in?

[A sheepish grin at that.] Luckily, there isn't enough time to attempt playing everyone outside of the dressing room.

It was a little more than creepy for the guys actually from that world. Some of 'em were downright traumatized by it. It made normally nice people pretty violent too, some ... personality switch thing. Anyway, I don't eat at that inn, for obvious reasons.

Who is she thinking about apping, anyway?

Oh,he's only got one right now. The dressing room aside. Figured on waiting until the move to join any others, but there are three on the 'definitely applying' and two on the 'might join' list.

No kidding....

Oh, Ariel. It's not definite or anything, she already is apping a second to one of her three current games for the next cycle. But your mun sounds like they will be busy too.

Yeah... Mostly new games though, which makes it easier to get into I guess. 'Your mun been in her games awhile?

I guess so, that's true. And yes, she has been in one of them for...two years at least? The others she joined about May and September, so she's not completely new.

Mine's been playing this one four years, but he's only been in this game since May... I swear he only plays if 'game imports' are allowed, now.

Must be a pretty big game if she's been there two years, though.

Yours too, huh? Mine doesn't like lj much anymore after the way they handled that last release.

It's fairly sized, I guess.
