Muse is not doing well with That Which No Mortal Mind Should Know.

Dear Mundane,

I appreciate your effort in trying to keep me from exposing the biggest flaws in the world you have placed me in. I had not asked for the knowledge I now have, and it is incredibly difficult to keep from letting the secret loose.

You know how I am with secrets.

But this knowledge is something that is not only world-ending, but that no sane pony would want to believe. I know it is true only because of the undeniable proof I have gathered, and even I cannot fathom what things would be like if everybody knew.

I think Applejack has her suspicions already; she's always been a lot smarter than she lets on.

But I don't know how much longer I can manage keeping this in. Please, mun, there has to be some way for me to... unlearn what I have learned. For things to go back to normal. I just want to be happy, with my friends, again. Please, look for a way, for me?

Your faithful, but suffering muse,
Twilight Sparkle

[She can sympathize with wanting to unlearn stuff, but...]

It's the same stuff your world is made of back home, y'know.

I KNEW IT.

YOU'RE SECRETLY NOT A UNICORN AT ALL.

The problem isn't with you not being able to keep a secret; It's the problem with the way Ink City's been set up. I still can't believe they have a physical fourth wall there.

Take a Yasogami High final.

Trust me. You'll forget everything and never want to learn again.
magicalrealist: (Wait a minute...)

More rough times in Ink City?
elementofloyalty: (shock and surprise)

Jeez, Twilight, what's gotten into you?
ininclntntwrds: (angry)

[personal profile] ininclntntwrds 2012-05-05 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
But not ones which you can touch and instantly gain forbidden knowledge. It's completely irresponsible of them putting that there.

But it's even more irresponsible of them to keep adding rules to Ink City.
what_fourthwall: (Cute when she's pretending to be interes)

But we're talking about you not me~

[personal profile] thejuneskid 2012-05-05 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
...Why.
elementofloyalty: (hope no one saw that)

[personal profile] elementofloyalty 2012-05-05 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oooh, yeah, I know how that goes. I haven't even ever seen you anywhere I've been. It's not fair.

But that wasn't what I meant. I mean, think about what you were just saying!
ininclntntwrds: (serious)

[personal profile] ininclntntwrds 2012-05-05 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
[Petitus groans inwardly.]

By adding rules to Ink City, they change the very nature of Ink City. They can also manipulate things to go the way they want them to go, nit paying attention to us fictional characters. Tailsteak learned his lesson the hard way, and I hope the muns of Ink City do, too.
ininclntntwrds: (observant)

[personal profile] ininclntntwrds 2012-05-05 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
And shame on you for misspelling "not", Goldude.
elementofloyalty: (QED so there)

[personal profile] elementofloyalty 2012-05-05 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
You're keeping some big important secret from your friends.
magicalrealist: (I heard you say friendship)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-05 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
How complicated?
