No, not really. It's full of nature, and different shapes other than blocks.

Ah, really? Good memories, I hope. [A light chuckle of his own.]

[She laughs, a musical laugh that seems to take the years off her face and brings a smile to her eyes.]

Oh yes. Always getting into so much trouble and never through any fault of his own, always rushing from one adventure to the next.

[Her grin takes on a mischievous glint]

And aren't I happy its his father that has to dig him out of it and not me. What about you? Who digs you out of whatever that energy of yours gets you into?

That sounds familiar. [He laughs softly, then smiles a bit sheepishly at her question.] Aaahh, me and Martin are pretty good at getting ourselves out of danger, but we get a lot of help from our friends in the Tortuga too, and the Wild Kratts Kids. [A warmer smile.] It's a team effort.

That is good to hear. Lives are like threads, woven together they can be beautiful and enduring, far stronger than any lone thread can ever be. It is through our bonds with others that we find ourselves.

[Some of the merriment leaves her eyes]

Too many these days try to walk alone. Concerned only with themselves.

[A little sigh, and a dampening to his mood.] Tell me about it. Humans to other humans is bad enough, but that sort of narrow-minded concern is exactly what's hitting so many animal species so hard, too...

I know what you mean. If only more humans could see what these old eyes have seen. They want to think that they are an island. But each of us, every living thing... We are all connected by the strands of Fate.

Yeah... [He nods, but brightens a bit after a moment.] But my brother and I, and our friends, are trying to change that. Even in just a few people. The more that realize how wonderful the world around them is, and how much everything is connected, then hopefully things will change. Especially if they spread it to their friends, and those friends spread it to their friends, and so on. Imagine what could happen!

Ohhh, hey fella. [He waves, then settles for waiting knowing better than to offer treats willy-nilly to a possible wild animal.]

[Seriously. Who does that? And he's gonna just take his sweet time ambling over. In a funny sort of back and forth, loose zigzag pattern while he tries to figure you out.]

[He's a professional Creature Adventurer here, folks. Literally. He could wait all day, and looks plenty settled to do so, especially after moving to a cross-legged position on the ground instead of the kneel.]

[He'll take a small sort of circle around once he gets closer, juuust out of any sort of reaching distance. ...Just in case. Nothing personal, Chris, you're just not a Bar-Ba-Loot. ...Or the Lorax. Or like anyone he'd know at all. Eventually, he inches over close enough to tentatively poke one of Chris's shoes...just to see what he'll do.]

[That's because he's a proportionately sized human. And Chris does.... nothing. No sudden movements, no loud noises, not even any eye contact- while he's watching Pip, he's watching more over the Bar-ba-loot's head.]

[He also doesn't have a hammer or an axe anywhere on him. This is a huge plus. What are these things on your shoes, Chris? They look kinda like ropes, but they're thinner and...look like they'd be really fun to pull.

Yup, he just pulled the knot loose on your laces. And as a bonus? He's gonna chew on the aglet end of one of them.]

[No but there's totally a granola bar in one pocket. Chris can't help but giggle under his breath, watching the little bear as directly as he dared. Still not doing anything.]

[Did you say granola bar? Playing tug-of-war with Chris's laces is entertaining and all but they aren't really edible and he's kinda hungry and- ...hey wait.

Pipsqueak sniffs the air curiously and then half-scrambles, half-climbs onto Chris, any lasting shyness or caution gone because food, you have it, where is it, he would really like it, thank you very much.]

[He can't help but laugh softly, warmly at that, and he gives Pipsqueak a big smile.] Ahh, I bet you're smelling this, huh?

[A sandwich bag is removed from one pocket and he breaks off a piece of the granola bar inside, offering it to the Bar-ba-loot in his lap.] Here, fella. Tasty and nutritious.

[Congratulations, Chris. With that magic bar of grainy, nutty, fruity goodness, you have earned yourself the friendship of one young Bar-Ba-Loot.

Pipsqueak's just going to camp himself out in Chris's lap now while he noms away at that piece of granola bar.]
