On Apping to Amat

If you think I should regard you with any less disdain or feel bad because the tiny pictures are not up to your liking, then we really have little to talk about. Despite of this second chance you seem intent on giving me, the likes of that place is abominable. That place is abominable.

Demons and Winchesters. My brother's presence there may bring more trouble than anything, and you ask of me to sin, to become putrid and human? It's distasteful and I look down upon it with everything I am.

Leave me to my duties.

I know. We had a place such as that in my world.

[He's not disagreeing Michael. At all.]

I solved the problem.

[Both smug and dark. He'd held the planet - and all life on it with a nervous system - hostage to take the country. But within six weeks, his rule was absolute and such systems, which had been in place since the founding over forty years before, were abolished.

No one else had managed, despite decades of attempts.

No, what matters is that I brought peace to my people.

[He didn't have to go through with the threat, if only because EMP'ing the planet years before have left no doubt that he did not bluff.]

Genosha was as close to peace as could exist. We'll take what we can get.

About six years. Not nearly long enough. But enough that not all our children were born knowing what it was to be hunted.

[It was worth it.]

Had I given more effort towards keeping my hubris in check, it would have much longer.

No, there won't. But what we had was the closest thing to it.

[He's not arguing. But a country the world feared to act against after decades of being literally hunted, were they could thrive and grow and live mostly without fear - that was good enough.]
