Revisiting a thought experiment on an old backup save...

Okay...maybe the me from the save you lost was able to kill Lemkil, but, I-I can't, all right? I don't want to kill people. ...Not ones that won't attack me first.

Those poor girls, I want to help them, but I...

*His ears flick unconsciously.*

...I can't. I can't, this time.

((Does this mean you can't help out the Honorhall Orphanage, either?))

Fff- you...! Stop trying to guilt me into cold-blooded murder! Could you do it if you were the one carrying this bow?

[ Cold-blooded murder doesn't sit well with the last Septim emperor. ]

No, it is meant for your player. It is a good thing you've renounced such evil ways. Cold-blooded murder taints the soul.

And this is why I love people!

Always free to choose what they do from situation to situation. Fate has no real hold on anything.

No, everyone has freewill. Though the hero that crops up every now and then has the unique experience of having a lot of choices he needs to think out.

To test, to be defied. Granted this is just the opinion of an insane god but I like to consider fate to be an opposing force to free-will. They can't coexist and everyone at least believes in one.

That is what I figure but the closest I got to meeting the gods was Martin.

Though Jyggalag supports the idea as well. Claims he knows everything that ever will happen.
