I wouldn't call killing someone like him "evil". But it's definitely not right. I just...I don't know what I can do. He won't let me bring up the subject with him, and he won't listen to his neighbors.

No, everyone has freewill. Though the hero that crops up every now and then has the unique experience of having a lot of choices he needs to think out.

To test, to be defied. Granted this is just the opinion of an insane god but I like to consider fate to be an opposing force to free-will. They can't coexist and everyone at least believes in one.

That is what I figure but the closest I got to meeting the gods was Martin.

Though Jyggalag supports the idea as well. Claims he knows everything that ever will happen.
