...Hm.
I take it that you desire to follow me to the end of the world. Are you truly prepared for such a journey? I ask not out of concern but rather out of worry that your presence shall inconvenience me.
You do realize that I plan to conqueror the world, don't you? That has always been my goal and it shan't change anytime soon. Whether it be the Persian Empire or the realms that exist beyond it; my dominion over the world itself will be absolute.
Therefore I shall ask again, are you certain that you're prepared? Only those of worthy valor are worth being at my side.

The quality of your mundanus will be of utmost importance. They will be like the head of your companion cavalry in their importance. I suggest you train him or her up to standard first.
/sorry for the late tag!
[ He offers this fellow a quick glance before looking away. Goodness, Alexander certainly seems to have quite the following lately. ]
This one seems to be well-trained in the art of mimicry, but she isn't season enough in the way of combat. Therefore, I suppose I'll have to tolerate her flaws for the time being as I have loyal Philotas train her.
Re: /sorry for the late tag!
If you are truly Alexander of Macedon...we studied your works in the academy.

[ Oh, what's this? Did this man just say that he studied about him and his campaigns across the world? Alexander's interest is peaked now. ]
Is that so? Then tell me, what have you learned about me?
no subject
no subject
Do I really? You seem to recognize well enough despite the differences.

You-- [ normally, of course, egypt is as stoic as they come, but he finds himself trembling suddenly. ] Where have you been? [ other nations are often surprised by former rulers in this place, after all, and egypt's waited so patiently. ]
no subject
Too familiar...]
Have I kept you waiting?

Most are.

Tell me, are you a child born from Helios' ilk or are you a son of Ra instead? Your skin looks as if you're been blessed by both Gods, for they both hold dominion over the sun.

There's no possible way that this boy could be the living representation of his final kingdom. Had the boy been anything else but sincere right now, Alexander would've rewarded his words with scorn.
However, this won't be the case here. ]
Is that truly you, Maṣr?
no subject
You are.. truly here.
no subject
[ He couldn't help but stare at the boy. Was he truly the embodiment of his beloved Maṣr? Does this mean that all of vast lands he has conquered possess similar forms?
If so, how is this even possible? ]
How is it that the Gods could be so...generous as to grant you a human form?
[ He begins to caress Maṣr's cheek with the back of his hand. ]
How beautiful you are, more radiant than I last remember.
no subject
[ an incredible understatement, but egypt has never been one for words. instead, he presses his palm to the back of alexander's hand, gaze lifting. ]
You will not.. leave again. [ though it's a statement, there's a clear question in his eyes. ]
no subject
As much as Alexander's heart belonged in Macedonia, his soul belonged to Egypt. ]
As I live and breathe, I vow never to stray again.
[ Suddenly, his eyes snap open and he wraps his arms around Maṣr's waist. Holding the boy close against him, Alexander whispers this to his ear. ]
Anä hĕ bĕk...
no subject
he takes a ragged breath, tilting his head up, nose brushing alexander's jaw. ]
.. Can I believe you?
no subject
Yes, you can if you choose to believe in me again.
[ He says this as he lightly brushes his lips against the Egyptian's. ]
no subject
when he parts from it, his expression is solemn, tawny eyes faintly pained. ]
Then.. I will.
no subject
Look at me.
[ He smiles vaguely. ]
Your king has returned. Don't doubt this, at least not now.
no subject
/yo! it's me, Dr. Cid-mun <3
[ Good one, Trevor. That comment actually gets a chuckle from him. ]
Then I'll just have to tread cautiously, won't I?
/why hello there<3
/ enthusiastic waving commences!

[After sideglancing, he focuses his gaze on the floor.]
