in which mun is incredibly intimidated kjsafjhsfa

Ah, my dear madame. I feel greatly honoured to be chosen by one such as yourself for this undertaking. It is a brave thing you do. But please, let me address an topic upon which I am greatly worried.

As you know, Hercule Poirot- he is the greatest detective in the world, non? Surely it is a challenge for one to live up to such a reputation, with all of my, how do you say? Idiosyncrasies. It will take great care for the little gray cells to research, to absorb every little detail.

Please, do not misunderstand, my dear. Even I, Hercule Poirot, has his moments. After all, we are only human.

These concerns seem to plague even those who create their own characters. I believe your mundane will do a fine job as does my own mundane. I admit to be unaware of your particular story, although my mundane seems to be most well-informed.

Emmeline Vessalius, and I agree, although sometimes they do seem to prove not quite as trustworthy as they may initially seem. Faith is one thing, but blind trust is never a wise idea when dealing with mundanes. They can conceive the most horrible ideas, after all.

They are strange creatures, these mundanes. They say they are scared and yet here they are, creating journals for us to use. It makes one wonder.

True. There has to be a little step to get to the next destination - but in your case, I think it is a big step.

Poirot-sama?

[Just...give her a moment here]

Your mundane is truly brave to wish to emulate your voice. However, I must say that though this is but a small sample, they appear to at least have a solid grasp of the basics. I wish you luck in pursuing this venture together.

Well, give your mun some credit. Might as well shoot for the top, right?
Mine's smiling, anyway.

I have found that most mundanes have difficulty living up to the reputations of detectives.

[Have a small child with a rather irritated demeanor.]

[ have some staring. because what is this? ceci est impossible! ]

Ah. I suppose it is good to know that I am not the only Poirot who is [ beat. ] concerned about what his Mundane is undertaking.

I can't *not* do it

Oh my, mousieur Hercule Poirot? The Poirot? Well, heavens this is quite a moment to remember! [But enough of that.]

And yes, I must agree with you on that. Your mun has quite a reputation to live up to, between both you and Dame Christie's prose. However, I'm sure your mundane has already taken all of this into account. One doesn't just enter into these kinds of things lightly and without research.

Just give him or her time to settle in and get their bearings. They might just surprise you!
