While I'm thrilled that you want to give me some backstory, can I request that we avoid any more of the particularly weird stuff? I'd like to avoid any more creeps hitting on their own daughters or people being beheaded with ancient swords, if you don't mind. Garden variety murder suits me just fine.

Besides. We both know this will be a bit pointless without DCI Barnaby and DS Jones around. Everyone knows Ben can't go anywhere without proper supervision. [Slight smirk.]
