It is the not knowing that gets under your skin. Even if you tell yourself that you have come to terms with worse, that maybe it's better not to know, your tired brain remembers that it can never know right before you go to sleep. Or mid-word, typing a report. Or during a meeting, resulting in the one person who always daydreams or disrupts company meetings looking uncharacteristically concerned for the rest of the day.

For pumpkin's sake, I need to learn to be okay with not knowing. Or invest in some stronger coffee.
