on finishing the investigations game

I suppose I should congratulate you on completing the game. I thank you for your hard work, I understand that last case with Mr. Alba was frustrating, it was for me as well.

Interested in putting me somewhere? Let's just hope your standards for a home are on par to mine.
truthsnomiracle: (Hmph)

That will depend on whether she values your satisfaction or merely wishes to engage in schadenfreude. Unfortunately, more typists lean towards the latter than the former.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth shrugs with a smug smile on his face, then shakes his head. (Smug shrug)

There are a number of us!

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
It's not impossible that you're simply fortunate -- unlikely, perhaps, but not impossible. Or do you have evidence to the contrary?
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth grits his teeth and rubs his temple in irritation. (Why me?)

Mm, I noticed the journal was only created today. We all start somewhere, though!

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
I see. In that case, you have my condolences.

You seem to be taking the situation rather well. I gather that you were brought to an understanding of your position prior to being deposited here?
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth glances away, looking awkward and uncomfortable. (Um...)

Indeed, makes sense.

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
(Perhaps not a complete understanding...)

I was actually referring to the fact that you're unsurprised to meet yourself. Most newcomers to Dear Mun aren't informed of the possibilities that exist here, all the better to watch us flail.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth peers at you dubiously. (Skeptical)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
You imply that she benefits from this... relationship in some way aside from deriving amusement from it.

[You know, Edgeworth, that's not impossible...]
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth tilts his head back slightly as he gives you a near-smile. (As much smile as he usually gives)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Worthwhile goals indeed. The former in particular is one that more people could stand to pursue; I fear the language may decay at this rate.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth points and occasionally waves his finger as he talks. (TL;DR)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
No, actually; her own case was quite different. While she felt comfortable with her vocabulary and her ability to portray me almost immediately, she found the social factor of this hobby to be intimidating. A combination of her passion for me as a character and her determination not to hide in a small circle of friends forever spurred her to make my original account.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth shrugs with a smug smile on his face, then shakes his head. (Smug shrug)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
By contrast, my own finds opportunities such as these to be enlightening. Recall that perfection is a lie -- there is always room to improve, is there not?
truthsnomiracle: (I accept your challenge)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
You and I both know that it takes more than one person to achieve results as close to perfection as humanly possible. That's as true here as it is in court. At the same time, while we must remain content with being less than perfect, there is still much to be gained from the attempt when one is realistic about it.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth points and occasionally waves his finger as he talks. (Making my case)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
On the subject of that particular revelation, I noticed you mention below that your typist has yet to play the game that represents the span of time during which we came to this realization.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth is looking at a stack of papers or a notepad. (The perfect evidence...)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. Our first direct appearance, and arguably the most important one, is during the final case of Justice for All, although several pertinent references to us show up over the course of the game. Our second and third direct appearances are in the final two cases of Trials and Tribulations.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth shrugs with a smug smile on his face, then shakes his head. (Smug shrug)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-04-27 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
That I leave for you to discover for yourself.
failures: (totally innocent)

[personal profile] failures 2012-04-27 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
If your mun went by your standards, they'd probably never be able to find a game for you.

['sup Edgey.]
yatagarasu: (☄ I'll come back when you call me)

Spoiler: I also play Edgeworth. And Larry.

[personal profile] yatagarasu 2012-04-27 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
What kind of game d'you have in mind, Mr. Edgeworth?
yatagarasu: (☄ as you head off to the war)

Do it.

[personal profile] yatagarasu 2012-04-27 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
H-hey! You don't want your assistant helping you out? Or Gummy? Or Miss von Karma, or Wolfy, or anyone?
yatagarasu: (☄ just because everything's changing)

[personal profile] yatagarasu 2012-04-29 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
I guess...what else are you looking for?
forensicists: (wave.)

and so I did. this is me also voice testing Ema ;;

[personal profile] forensicists 2012-04-27 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, Kay, hello! I see you've met with my mun's Mr. Edgeworth!
yatagarasu: (☄ and follow the light)

AWESOMESAUCE.

[personal profile] yatagarasu 2012-04-29 08:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ema! Hi! Long time no see!
takethat: Phoenix as he usually appears--bright eyes, happy smile. (twitch)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
That's an accomplishment my mun can't claim...
takethat: Phoenix as he usually appears--bright eyes, happy smile. (Default)

m-me too always...

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh--finishing that particular game. No, I have a home at the moment.
takethat: Phoenix as he usually appears--bright eyes, happy smile. (chuckle)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
My mun? She's just about smack in the middle of that walking game of yours.

[A laugh]

The only reason she keeps at it is the vague possibility of ever being able to understand the sequel.
takethat: Phoenix as he usually appears--bright eyes, happy smile. (it's soda i swear)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
My mun was sorely unimpressed by Justice for All, anyway, but was a big fan of Trials & Tribulations--which was actually the first one she played.

You're in that one quite a lot. Lots of... interesting... scenes.
takethat: Phoenix smiling warmly and gently in soft lighting. (gentle smile)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure--I'd be disappointed, too, if not.

But I won't spoil you any further. [Smile]
takethat: Phoenix scratching his left ear with his forefinger and glancing off to the side. (umm....)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the short version, yes.

[In order to find you again, really.]
takethat: Phoenix blushing and looking away. (blushglance)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
...well, yeah. You always were pretty inspiring like that!
takethat: Phoenix as he usually appears--bright eyes, happy smile. (grinning)

[personal profile] takethat 2012-04-27 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I... guess it is!

[He laughs and sort of shifts nervously.]

Then again, I could argue that it's in your nature to be inspiring?
littlecrowgirl: (Happy Kay)

[personal profile] littlecrowgirl 2012-05-03 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Mr. Edgeworth!!

[Teenage girl tackling you now!]
