That much will be educational, in the least - though I am loathe to admit, I'm most apparently stunted by the inventions of my time - though the hearty chortles at my expense will cease upon pain of ---- pain of something or another.

Insomuch as you can probably gather, the facts are obvious: I am inarguably intrigued, despite my annoyance. Less obvious therein: I won't put on that suit. You cannot make me.

[Oh, she's not ogling, just be appreciative. And amused. She surely is allowed that. No-matter what she's seen before, it's not as if Holmes is generally in the habit of going about in the nude. Or perhaps he is, and she's underestimated him vastly.]

Oh, I should call it foolish, rather than sinister. This is hardly the first time someone incapable of the task has attempted to take advantage of you.
