Well, I'm glad we've gotten so close.
And you're giving me such fabulous choices, too. Let's see here. Find a corner of hell with old friends and spend my time listening to a grown man whine, or wait a few more months and go to another hell with complete strangers and listen to a grown man whine.
Really, how does one decide?

But maybe I'll get lucky and they'll change their mind. Apparently it's all still up in the air, so to speak.

Lucky? Chloe, these are muns we're talkin' bout. Do you know how much crap I've given mine because she gives me the damn run-around?

In any case, I wouldn't have to worry about it for awhile. It's some desolate place called
no subject
So that's that place is about. Huh. Hey, well, if you'd rather a less, oh I don't know, creepy place, I might be able to help. How's that for supportive, huh?
no subject
Well, I certainly don't like the place. And I figure I've got about a month to convince her to find something better. So maybe I'll take you up on that support, hm?
no subject
Right. How 'bout this: you heard of a place called
no subject
[She winks.] Perhaps I will have a look. It's got to be better than monsters and no fresh supplies. Not that my mun ever sees things that way. I think she's got some attraction to it.
no subject
[Look at that silly little grin on his face.] Definitely doesn't hurt to look around. And she likes monsters? Okay, well, I think your mun might like some of the monsters that hang around the ruins. Look, it's a good place, I wouldn't have stayed around so long if it wasn't. [Well, okay, the ruins really made him stick around and the whole 'no answer to anything so might as well go find an answer to something and try to make a profit out of it' deal.
That and he's stupidly stubborn against the mun's wishes sometimes.]

Yeah, cute. You can criticize my luck all you want but I always manage to get out of tough spots, don't I?
I got good survival instincts. That's what counts.
[He can be /smugface about that.]
no subject
Yes... and you get yourself into those tough spots as well. Along with your friends, that's to your stunning displays of chivalry.
[She can't really help smirking herself. Ah, Nate. So annoying sometimes, yet still so charming.]
Those instincts had better be good. Your other ones leave something to be desired at times.
no subject
My other instincts work fine. Just... never when everyone else seems to be paying attention.
[You're lucky you have a nice ass, Chloe.]
Damn it, mistyping.
Oh? Hurt your feelings, did I? Well, maybe I'll have to pay more attention.
[She'll make it up to him. By gently tempting him when she moves forward and puts her hands on his chest.]
For the record, I doubt I would get much say regardless of how many coins I tossed in the air. I'm not the one calling the shots. It seems to be far more of a question of how much trouble they can get me into, rather than what I want to do.
I saw nothing~
[And he watches her curiously, perhaps waiting for her to get a little closer.]
That's how it goes- as usual we're at their mercy. [nods at her] Tell your mun to flip a coin.
Such a beautiful person <3
And what if they choose something terrible, hm? Then who's going to make it up to me?
:3 ♥ *cough* now you saw nothing
[He reaches out and slips his arms about her waist, casually pulling her against him while he continues speaking...]
Either way, I'm sure you'll think of something to ask for if you get sent some place that bad. [shrugs] Maybe I'll be around to hear some of those suggestions.
I was too distracted by you, clearly.
Oh. Well... If you insist.
[She puts her arms around his neck, smiling playfully.]
Does that mean you want to see me again, Nate? I'm flattered. Maybe I should help my mun decide, then.
Must be my ninja-like abilities
Maaaybe you should. Unless you don't miss me, in which case all that's left for me to do is sulk alone with a bottle of beer. Or three.
[He's kidding. Mostly.]
You are just that attractive.
Who wouldn't miss that reckless charm of yours? I'm just worried you might be too preoccupied for me, having all that fun on your own.
[That tone she has is definitely playful. Nate can probably imagine something to fill in what she's thinking, and for the moment she'd rather leave it to him to wonder. It makes things more fun when she can watch his reactions.]
You just want my shiny treasures~
A small laugh bubbles in his throat.]
I don't know, I'd like to think I'm pretty good at multitasking. 'Course that's another thing I'm better off showing you.
Of course I do.
[She's already got her hands in his hair, and if Nate things that little kiss was distracting, Chloe has even more ideas she could always share with him.]
Well, you'll just have to show me, won't you? Not that I'm complaining, mind.
[And to prove that, she slides her hands down his back, fondling him a little when she gets below his waist.]
