Of course I've no objection to following after Bran.  We are on a quest, after all.  It wouldn't be right at all to leave him alone in this.  My place is by his side.

But I will be powerless there, almost.  I do not know how much use I will be in that place.  It is true that an Old One can never become anything greater or less than what they are.  Only be limited for a time.  I know that my duties will remain the same.  But I do not know how I will complete them in a world where I would be able to use one gift, only.

I wish I could speak to Merriman about this.

There is that, of course. I will still have all my knowledge. But it will be very different, I think.
