I'm doing all right. So long as the village isn't being destroyed and I'm able to do my work, I think I do all right.

[ooc: Thanks so much! Iruka's always been my favorite for his heart. I taught for three years and Iruka is someone I can truly sympathize with. I taught Korean kindergartners. He taught ninja kindergartners. XD]

I wouldn't have if I didn't have something to protect, Shikamaru. You. The others. My current students. Everyone I teach grows up to nurture and protect this village. We're all connected.

I couldn't give up knowing the part I play and knowing the hearts I touch, just as they've touched mine.
