[ After all this time, he still flinches a bit when she charges at him like that. But soon enough, his arms slide around her waist, holding her against him. Deus only knows what hell she's managed to raise since he's been gone, and for the sake of everyone on this website, it was best he find her as soon as he got here. ]

[ She doesn't seem to notice his flinch. Does she ever? She just glows, flushing warmly when he wraps his arms around her, pressing slightly against him, breathing him in. ]

Mm, okay. [ And thank goodness for that. A restless, lonely Yuno is a bad, dangerous Yuno. ] I was worried.

[ She smiles brightly at the kiss. No one's dying today! ... Probably. ]

I'm glad, Yukki. [ Her fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt, because. Man, did she miss the feel of him. His presence. ]

Mun-chan's been very busy. So, I haven't really gone anywhere. It's been a bit boring...

Me too. [ It was times like this where he forgot just how crazy Yuno was. When she was affectionate like this, clinging onto to him, expressing her undying (and frankly, unhealthy) love and devotion for him. When he can pretend, even for these precious few moments, that their relationship is actually normal. ]

Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. He, um... wouldn't ever send me somewhere without you.

[ Most likely because his mun knows that's a total recipe for disaster. Because, inevitably, that leads to CR with other characters, and if a Yuno ever did show up... ]

... and I wouldn't let you go somewhere without me, either.

[ If only because he has enough on his conscience as it is. Yuno's caused enough problems in their own world(s) without butchering people to death in others. ]

[ Oh, how could you ever forget how crazy she is? Can't you see it in her smile, in her eyes? She draws back to beam at him, and giggles lightly, appreciative of what he's said. ]

Really? That's perfect, then! We can stay together.

[ Like she's always wanted, like she's always planned. ]

Those games, though... [ She knits her brows, putting a thoughtful finger on her lips. ] They don't sound very good at all.

[ ... kind of. But he's accepted her as she is, and has accepted the fact that his soulmate is pretty much insane. He's under no delusion that his relationship with her is extremely unhealthy, and that every logical part of his brain is telling him how bad of an idea this is. But he can't leave her. He knows that he's the one thing standing between her and going completely over the edge, and he loves her too much to let that happen. Besides... they were here now. No survival game to worry about, nothing to take him away from her, and, Deus willing, no reason to start killing people left and right again. They could finally get their wish, and be together forever. And he can't ruin that for her. He just can't. ]

Yeah... we can.

[ He smiles sadly, knowing that, despite desperately wishing it wasn't true, nothing will ever truly be easy for them. It's just how they are. But that doesn't mean he won't try. He has to, for both of their sakes. He may not be the kind of person who will kill somebody if they so much as look in his love interest's general direction for too long, but he can't imagine life without her anymore. Those ten thousand years were too long for him. He can't go through that again. There wasn't a single night that went by where he wasn't crying to the point of throwing up. ]

Try to think positively, Yuno. [ Yeah, he knows, not happening. ] There's... no survival game here. We can be together forever. Just like you wanted. Like... like we wanted. [ Right? No need to kill people...? ]
