So, we're doing this after all?

Listen, I know you're still feeling bad about last year, but you know? It's okay. Things happen, and at least this time things will be different. Don't worry about it, and let's just do our best this time around. Okay?

You still have two weeks to finish your app, mun. And hey, you're already halfway done. That's already a good start, for one! Let's try to get it done as soon as possible, so we're both ready when the cycle opens.

Besides, Cecilia's going to be there too, right? Even with the setting and all... at least it'll be nice to have a familiar face nearby. Though, it's going to be weird without Jack around. Then again, it's kind of hard to imagine him—or, well, any of us—with... you know, wings.

Haha... with my mun, losing focus seems to be a bad habit. In fact, just now she was watching something with a friend.

[Okay, that thought alone is enough to get a chuckle out of Rudy.] You think so? I wonder what Jack would say to that.

... It really is going to be different without him, though.

[Because they're aderpable. :3] While I'm not sure if he'd like the idea of confinement - I know I'm not - I think he'd feel all right if he were with friends, don't you?

I wouldn't be surprised. Honestly? I don't like it either. [The thought of being trapped in one place so long can really make the drifting sort feel restrained, and Rudy was no different. Not only that, but with the kind of things that happen in Luceti: kidnappings, experimentation, drafts... the thought of his friends going through that really didn't sit well with him either.]

But you know, you're right. Having friends around is at least better than going alone.

I'm scared, though. We'll be all right, won't we? [Logically, she knows they will be, but knowing she won't be in her own world is honestly terrifying. It's like going against the demons sort of terrifying.]

[Quietly, Rudy extends a hand towards Cecilia as to gently place it on her shoulder.]

... Don't worry. It'll be, we'll be fine. No matter what happens, we shouldn't lose hope. [There's a gentle tone in his voice--yet, with a hint of anxiousness--as he tries to reassure her.]

It's always great to have good friends with you, no matter what happens.

Yeah, I think so too. Without friends, then what would we have?

Though with the game my mun's sending me to... with the sort of things that go on over there, I don't know if it's something I'd want to see anyone I know going through either. [Luceti! It's kind of a mixed bag like that.]

I heard a lot of games do that. It makes me wonder if there are any nice ones.

[Yulie, be grateful that you're in a musebox instead of a horror game.]

I'm sure there's some out there. [Probably!] Maybe not many, but I still wouldn't lose hope either way.

I'm not sure. Doc - Emma never mentioned it, neither did Vassim, but it seems like there's a lot they don't know... or tell me. Vassim definitely knows things.

[He grimaces, at that, but only briefly. There's plenty about being a living weapon that he genuinely doesn't want to know, after all.]

All I know is I always seem to have better luck than Cecilia or Jack!
