She shakes her head, it does sting, but Donna never just let someone feel horrible in her presence. "It's all right. Insightful, really. I have to wonder how much of my Robin and Speedy's fights were about him trying to get attention."

She extends a hand. "Donna Troy. When you were dressed like that, I was called 'Wonder Girl.'"

Attention? From who?

[Shakes that hand] Nice to meet you, Donna.

She sighs. "Forget it. It would make me sound like an ego case."

"So are there Titans in your world?"

[Knowing smile] Wow, he really needs to work on his pick-up techniques. But that's part of his charm, I guess.

No. I'm part of a team, but apparently we're pretty different from the Titans.

"Says the man who had every female Titan hitting on him except me - and most of the team thought we were dating!" It is way too easy to fall back on old habits, despite this Dick being both younger and not knowing her at all. Still, some things don't change.

"No Titans...That's sad. The team was so much of my life. What is your group now?"

[Laughs] I don't really get hit on often, actually. Maybe I'm just too young.

We don't have a name. I just know we're not a version of the Titans because we work with the League.

She laughs. "Not likely. My guess is that most of the girls that are interested are intimidated. What are you? Fifteen?"

She looks confused. "And here I thought that was the original plan for all us sidekick-types. Grow up and go to the JLA." She tries keeping the sarcasm out of her voice. Dick is just that perceptive.

Thirteen. And me? Intimidating? [Just smiling]

We're more like the junior Justice League, in a way. We do covert ops missions that the League can't.

You...don't like the League?

Queue an emphatic, "YES!" Dear Gods, who was after Dick at 13. Bette, certainly. JD, maybe. One never knew with Duella. Lilly? No, that was 14, and the telepath had enough people on her dance card. Still, there was Barbara, and she knew very well, he only really had eyes for her. Wonder twin weakness for redheads, as the joke went.

"That sounds familiar. Like the early days." Then, it occurs to her. Of course they won't call the group Titans! She came up with the name!

There's a deep sigh. She can't lie. It's part of the Wonder-package. "It's complicated," is the best dodge she can offer. "In my world, we stayed independant."

[Mysterious smile. Pretty much all of the girls on the Team are spoken for...in one way or another.] I'm pretty sure that's not the case when it comes to my team.

So it's more like you don't want to join the League, right?

"Then wait." Because it's going to happen for him. She just knows it. "But not too long."

"Mostly." No matter where he's from, it's Dick. Donna owes more information than that. "I guess you could say we evolved differently because we had to. After awhile, it just became less and less of a desirable option to become the rookie JLA member when someone was already a veteran Titan. It was almost a different culture and set of rules. We didn't need to be part of the JLA to do good."

I see. So the Titans more or less became its own team, working toward the same thing in a different way.

"Exactly - and in the process, we forged a different identity and set of values." She shrugs. "It happens."
