[There's a slight pause over here, played up as judging silence. His feelings are mixed: On one side, he's happy, thrilled even, at the aspect of seeing her again. Sure, long times apart is just normal routine for them, but he'd still like to see her again]

[On the other side- there's concern. Paradisa is not a super safe place. It's been peaceful for awhile sure, but there's still danger. She might not be safe]

[And on the last side: He's effing terrified. It's so much easier putting off not running from her when you know, you're not even in the same world as her. What if he screws it up? Then again, she already hates him...]
