Past trauma? [He pauses to think about it.] I don't think so... Though Jersey tried to eat me once and not in the sexy kind of way, either.

[Yay, hugs!] Not really! Jersey just tends to eat whatever he fancies and I think he thought I was a human at first. 'Don't know how he could have thought so. [He flaps his wings a little to remind America that they're there. Plus he has those horns on his head. He just couldn't understand.]

[America pokes those horns and laughs.] Well, as traumatizing as that was, I always do think with my stomach.

[He just flinches a little at the pokes to his horns. They're rather sensitive.] He does, too! It was all right, though. See, that was when we first met! [Despite the trauma of being almost eaten, it's a good memory for Artie and his existence wouldn't be the same if he hadn't met Jersey at all.]
