My faith in humanity was what took us so far! My resources were something you needed at one point or another. We wouldn't have been able to fight the Reapers if it wasn't for my contribution. Don't forget that.

You contributed but you didn't lead it. Everyone played a role in this - it wasn't all you.

Especially not when you sacrificed so many innocent people for your "experiments".

And what would have happened if you did succeed in controlling the Reapers? Use them for mass destruction of other alien races?

It doesn't work that way.

I did what I had to. What we all needed to do. The galaxy was at war, Shepard. My path was simply the harder one than yours. [ God he is so full of himself right now. ]

I was preparing for the Reapers long before you discovered their existence, Shepard. Don't let your perception of my actions cloud how far they took you. We have different methods. I feel mine are far more expedient to reach the same goal. You're used to doing it your way, it's perfectly accptible to be attached to those methods, but they clouded your judgement.
