Yet you repeatedly specifically choose do-gooders with evolved social skills and avoid any true conflict, even in your alter-personas. More than a mere escape, this is an attempt to find meaning and fill the gaps in your own life - if your character is disliked it's alright because it isn't you, yet it's close enough for you to fret and put enormous amounts of time and work into correcting the relationship.
