apparently he's upset I keep listening to "Once-ler's Traveling Madness"
WILL YOU SHUT UP!? Aren't you supposed to be writing!? Stop that god-awful wailing you call singing and focus or I'll KILL YOU!!

[Oh God. Did you say you're a cat. Sanzo's suddenly on his feet, his breathing heightened. Oh God. Oh God. But you look human. Turns out he's not too good with cats.]
Cat...!?
no subject
[He pushes the hood back, revealing his ears Is he going to trigger your allergy, Sanzo?]
no subject
G-GHHKKK!! C-CAT! CAT!! YOU'RE A CAT!?!
no subject
I am.
[He sounds so calm, even if Sanzo is freaking out.]
Perhaps I should play something else for you.
no subject
[Sanzo backs the hell away and once he's certain he's far enough that he can try to take a stammering, calming breath, he nods.]
J-Just play it f-from over there. Hmph.
no subject
Aah, so the appreciation for music does not change, even if you fear the minstrel?
[Another half-smile, and he'll play another song.]
no subject
Hmph! I never said I feared you! The music is fine.
[He'll listen, but his guard is up.]
no subject
Mmhm. If you say so.
[That reaction said differently... but he'll play for you, Sanzo.]
no subject
[He relaxes the more he listens... almost forgetting a cat is nearby.]
no subject
[The minstrel keeps playing this tune for a while, still keeping pace with flicks of his tail. When he finishes, he's almost purring.]
It is nice to see another person enjoying my music. It has been some time since I played for anyone else.
no subject
Why not play for others more often?
no subject
[Ghostcat watches over his kid =/ ]
no subject
[He isn't sure what to say.]
Play that first one again.
no subject
[He'll play the first tune again, still smiling a little as his fingers move over the strings.]
no subject
...you have a great talent.

no subject
[Oh, Sanzo.]
no subject
Perhaps it needs a firm hand now and then.
no subject
[He looks over at the other once again.]
...you don't look much like a cat, to be honest... you're not one of those cosplay bastards, are you?
[This is actually Sanzo's kindness, as he doesn't find the other terrifying any longer, thus sees the more human part than the feline part.]
no subject
I'm afraid I do not even know what that is. I am a ribika, and in honor of our goddess, we refer to ourselves as cats.
[His ears wiggles a bit, showing that they were actually real.]
I suppose you can say that we are a bit of both human and cat, as our godess' husband has your human shape.
no subject
[He's not sure what frightens him more: the idea that this person was slightly cat or that he descended from someone who bonked them.]
...are you certain?
no subject
[There's a smile as the strums the strings on his instruments.]
I was simply explaining that we are a bit of both.
no subject
[It's puzzling, but then again, so is Dear Mun in general.]
How long have you known how to play such music?
no subject
Since about when I was my son's age, so around eighteen? Music was always part of my life.
no subject
What other talents do you have?
