 While the prospect of studying the behavior of people torn from their home and forced to reside in a surrounding significantly unlike their own is not unappealing, I have much work to attend to in the Jeffersonian. 

The presence of different monstrous species while scientifically fascinating to explore is not a decisive factor here, my field is people. You should try Hodgins, it sounds like the sort of thing that would appeal to his love of conspiracy.

The idea of studying a place completely unlike our own has it's merits, it's every scientist's aspiration to make new discoveries. But I can't leave the Jeffersonian unsupervised.

Hodgins is an Entomologist he has no qualifications concerning space-time continuum.

That's not a qualification. To my knowledge he hasn't done any research in the matter that has been scientifically supported.

If it proves itself to be an existing phenomenon then yes, it should be treated like all other scientific branches.
