Beetee does not buy his writer's BS.

I think this is all a sham. I think honestly that you're bored and rather then productively use the time you've been given on this unexpected day off-
I know you're angry but see reason. You could be working for the Capitol. You could never get a day off such as the particularly memorable year where I was literally forced to sleep at my work station. You are, by nature afforded far more luxury then any of us. Even the game makers.
The proper attitude in this case is not to engage in self-defeating behavior but instead to use this time productively. Which translates to...
...No, it does not translate to playing around in my life or the lives of others. Nor does it translate to spontaneous creative activity if your situation is so dire. Pick yourself up, move on, and throw yourself eagerly into this job you so hated. Don't be-

Do you wonder? What it would have been if the rebellion had been different? [ If there'd never been any Games. She was so stuck, so interwined in how things were that it was hard to think of it. (More that it was hard to think of something that seemed so pleasant) ]
