Who doesn't want power? As an end of its own it's somewhat vague, but it's the gateway to so much more. Immortality, my family's safety and security, a comfortable position in society, it all requires a certain amount of power and influence. But so does protecting the innocent, doesn't it?

However the difference is you will kill and manipulate people to reach a selfish end.

Oh, I know. I've just always wanted to say something like that. I never claimed to be a selfless person. I know there are people who would consider what I do heartless or even evil, but I know and am comfortable with where my moral limits are.
