[ That hand gets the faintest of squeezes, equally casual, almost as if it happened by accident. ]

I trust you'd prefer in a positive manner, given the penchant of those who attract my negative regard to disappear.

[ That might be a joke. Blink and you'll miss it. ]

[ You're a peach, really. The lame joke gets a half-smile of acknowledgment. ]

You've looked at me as negatively as you could do anyone before, and here I am. Lived to tell the tale.

[ Grinning, he trails a thumb up the inside of Sousuke's wrist, circling aimlessly. ]

I think I just left you lost for words, stop the presses.

[ An eyebrow arches, and his grip subtly tightens. ]

I wouldn't speak too soon if I were you.

[ Brown eyes glitter, the tips of his fingers teasing those of Sousuke's. Barely there, feather-light caresses back and forth. ]

You've still got something to say? I'm impressed.

[ A faint smile crosses his face, the corner of his mouth quirking upward. ]

It takes considerably more than that to render me speechless, Kurosaki Ichigo.

[ Stepping inside his personal space, Ichigo slides his fingers up the middle of an open palm, touching a pair of forearms in aimless distraction, an after-thought of constant contact. He still has to look up at the man, but doesn't mind, always returning to tracing his name on soft vulnerable palms. ]

Can't imagine what would help my case.

[ Low and pensive, he holds steady eye-contact throughout the intentional flirt; and it has to be with Ichigo, because he's usually so completely oblivious. ]

Give me a hint?

[ He makes no move to stop him, spreading his fingers and slightly shifting his arms to give him better access. Sousuke's always been a glutton for physical contact. A shift of his weight and he leans closer, all but smirking. His eyes don't lift from Ichigo's, and his voice drops to a quiet murmur. ]

Am I to assume that you mean to make me so?

[ A quiet chuckle. ]

Whatever for, I wonder?

Just my ego, nothing too big.

[ He echoes that chuckle, dropping his gaze to lips and shoulders, glancing up with a raised brow. He's already told Sousuke what his voice does to him and puts his very best into not letting it show. ]

Suspicion means you don't trust me and you should definitely do that.
