Ah, it seems it has been quite some time since I have written to you in this manner. Rest assured it is because I have been preoccupied! Not that... you've given me much to do on that godforsaken spaceship, but I do like your idea of a "canon update." I will be much more willing to interact with people in the present-day, and the renewed confidence that a half century will bring will do me good.

I do sincerely appreciate that you want to avoid the heartbreak of losing her without any knowledge of where she's gone off to. Truly, that is something I can live without, and I am glad you're figuring a way around it with the canon update. With memories of nearly sixty years of being back home, I will at least know that she was safe. However I must caution you against your attachment to us. Though I love her dearly, and the thought of losing her is... truly frightening to me, I would not simply cease to exist if she were gone. We are made to endure; remember that. You certainly seem to remember that concept when she and I are together...

All that aside - you are looking at flights? Yes? You have a plan to cut coupons for groceries and put the saved money towards airfare to come visit me?

To be perfectly fair, she was taken straight from battle and was rather on edge the entire time she was there... Got in some nasty fights with Belarus and ... nearly attacked America with a broken wine bottle. I think she can definitely use the time back at home to refresh.

Also if you keep that up, I may leave Chopin out of my next performance.
