[Something is familiar after all, and he's going to keep his guard up for the time being until he knows the dragon's intent. One must always be prepared for dealings with dragons to go either way, whether friendly or a battle.]

[Oh, Kain will see how familiar it is when it shoots its thermal ray attack at him.]

[Kain gasps in surprise and leaps backward, doing what he can to avoid its attack. He misses the brunt of it. Still, ow.]

I can defeat you again!

[Jumping time!]

[red_dragon]

[Damn! His one weakness! He growls angrily and bares his teeth.]

[Kain descends swiftly, spear aimed to target the dragon.]

[red_dragon]

[The dragon roars as the dragoon falls towards him.]

[He's attempting to stab at as he descends.]

[red_dragon]

[And stab it he does, causing it to roar of in pain.]

[Kain leaps off to the side, landing and then straightening as he watches the dragon closely.]

[red_dragon]

[The dragon then lunges at Kain for an attack.]

[Kain leaps aside, attempting to evade what he can.]

[Swings his tail violently at Kain.]

[dragoon_pride]

[Kain raises his spear up defensively as he tries to avoid... and ends up whacked heavily by the tail as a result. He counters with a blast of wind with a Cyclone.]
