Heh. I'm glad you haven't lost your fighting spirit, but it's not going to be easy to reach Kawaki now.

If everyone believes you killed me, the entire village will have it out for you. Even if you team up with Sarada, that's a bit much for two genin to take on all by themselves...

Mom and me will be alright, and Shikamaru will see to Himawari. So you just worry about keeping yourself safe, you hear? Even if you have to run and hide for now.

[ this is, of course, about 90% bravado. he's terrified. he's basically alone for the first time in his life, his parents are gone, everyone thinks he murdered his dad, and he really has no idea how to get to kawaki or what he's actually going to do once he does. but.. he also doesn't want his dad to know he's scared, so. ] ..
