Scaramouche noticed this human wearing a familiar looking type of armor. To his observation, this man sounded like he knew the name of the merc he had very recently hired.]
You know of Felix?
[The teenaged boy in traditional Japanese style clothing is smiling at the familiarly armored soldier. The interest within his seemingly friendly tone can be clearly heard.
The man may find the sight of Scaramouche to be very suspiciously strange, but he could really care less on whatever the other would think. That doesn't matter at all to him, because to him, human life is worthless.
He simply only wants to know of this man's identity. Felix did say he had a partner, but he has no idea what this partner looks like.]
Are you a friend of his? Or foe? As his employer, I'm making it my business to know.
[Scara has been impressed of what his new attack dog's capable of, and intends on keeping him around. If this guy's a thorn in Felix's side, then maybe it could be a convenience for Scara to kill him.]

He doesn't think about the positive things. He shoves those away as if they don't exist. They're too Complicated with that capital C again.

If Locus doesn't at all like Felix, then he certainly wouldn't like Scara. But that would be okay by him! All of those he still has authoritive command over don't like him. They just don't want to end up murdered, for if Scara finds out they left and betrayed him...]
He did tell me he had a partner. So, you would be him. The introduction happens much sooner than planned.
[Scara laughs a little. It's no wonder he was pointed in this direction! It's so soon, and a little too convenient, here and now. He doesn't have to wait in getting to know this other mercenary.]

[He sees no point in all mentioning anything about his previous affiliations with the Fatui Harbingers. Not now, anyway. That'll come sometime after talking about his plans to become the new god of Sumeru, and listing all of who would team up with the Traveler for them to take out, to be out of the way.
Oh, he'll really enjoy his next chat with her, once the opportunity presents itself. Seeing a look of horror and surprise on the Traveler's stupid face would amuse him so much...]
Felix and I tend to be like-minded. [They both tend to have a twisted delight in killing humans.] I offered him a business opportunity, and he accepted.

[That was all he really needed in his life: someone like-minded with Felix. However, he was still loyal to his partner at the moment. And following orders was simple, easy, right. He was a solider. It's what soldiers did.

Then we would be meeting anyway. [At least he'd expect Felix to handle introductions at some point. It's easier to believe than not and prevents him from getting angry at his partner. Again.] If he failed to mention my name: I'm Locus.
Our specialties are similar but they compliment each other rather than overlap entirely. [In case Scaramouche was wondering. But he doesn't appear to have much more to say than that without prompting.]

How did the two of you end up working together? You don't seem thrilled about this news.
[He's in a good mood, and feeling entertained over this situation. Should he later reveal this to Felix and surprise him, once they all got together? Or should this be a private meeting between him and Locus?
Not that he intended to sow discord between the two mercs. He would only find either direction to be very interesting.]

Circumstance. We discovered we work well together under fire. It stuck.

Right now, I've sent some scouts of mine to look into who I'd like to be out of the way. There are only a few I've got plans to settle scores with... You'll know all the details within a week's time.
[While waiting for his scouts to return and report, he could go see the two humans he'd think would be potential followers. Because every god needs followers.]
