Well, congratulations, Mun. It only took you the better part of a year to finally pick me up! Despite all that ruminating I've been doing in that head of yours. You know, it's really selfish of you to push me to the back when you know I'm the most ambitious and vocal muse that you have. You're just afraid that people don't like me! Aren't you?

It doesn't matter if people like me! It would be nice but... What matters most in showbiz is that you trust and love yourself! And I do! And you love me too!

It does feel a bit lonely at the top.

I'm just tired of sitting in silence hoping someone will answer. Mostly him... I miss him. Is that stupid?

Of course that isn't stupid. You're allowed to miss him. I miss him too.

I always half expect him to show up out of nowhere and say something stupidly charming. I keep waiting and it doesn't come. Did you ever get his jacket back? Obviously Puckerman took it. I just didn't know if he ever had the guts to return it.

I didn't but I hope who ever did take it really needed it or is doing something useful with it.

But I do understand being alone. I had hoped I would see or find Blaine but...[He gives a small shrug.]

I'm sorry, Kurt. Out of all of us I really think you should've kept it. It's strange you haven't heard from Blaine... Do you know what he's up to these days?

I should have but [He shrugs once again.] It'll be alright. It's just a jacket, it isn't like they robbed me of memories.

[He lets his gaze drop to the floor. It's a rather difficult conversation and being here alone makes him feel all the more hollow.]

[ it doesn't take a genius to read Kurt's expression. the two of them have been close for long enough that she knows better than to push it. ]

Well, at least there isn't much of a choice between love or career anymore, right?

[ she chuckles wryly, recounting their senior year conversation. though they both know they much preferred having to choose. ]

Sorry. Maybe we should go on a trip somewhere. The apartment has been so quiet with everyone off doing their own things.

Is that really a good thing? [Choices had seemed so difficult once but he preferred when he had them, it gave him something worth fighting for but now...

Sometimes he wonders if he chose the wrong option.]

What kind of trip exactly?

[ she shrugs. ohio is obviously a no-go. too sensitive, too soon. new york has been a ghost town as of late. somewhere new. ]

Lets go somewhere fabulous. Somwhere outside of the country. Like Paris or London. I mean, it will have to be after Funny Girl takes a break of course but, if we spend carefully we could afford a small trip. Right?

[He doesn't want to think too much about Paris, it reminds him of Blaine and the thought alone has his heart aching all over again. ]

I've always had a soft spot for London. Some budgeting and care with our money we should be able to make it work.

[myparade]

[ her expression lightens, and she knocks her shoulder into Kurt's affectionately. ]

Ohmigosh Kurrrt! This is going to be so much fun! Okay, I'll start planning where we'll go and budgeting right away. We're going to eat the BEST food, and then we can go shopping it's going to be an AMAZING trip, I promise! And I'll have my agent get us a good flight too!

[They both really need a good escape. Perhaps the little trip will help heal the both of them, couldn't hurt at least. Besides they both really deserved it after all their hard work and dedication they have put in with everything involving New York. ]
