Well admiral I'm in no position to answer such a loaded question myself. Only my Mun can and he seems to be under the assumption that the two of us share an... interest... in alien women. That may occasionally put us in trouble.

Of course that would just be speculation on my part.

Not at all. None of us owns our legacy--if mine has something to do with, ah, romantic pursuits that are entirely exaggerated, there must be some reason.

And on that note--there's nothing to live up to. We all face unique challenges, native to our own time and context. There's no need to attempt to replicate the past.

It's alright! We have all been in a situation where we temporary lose control of the ship. On of our crew invented a new artificial life form that ended up living in the main computer core. Their presence caused a lot of issues until we managed to get them out of there and give them their own planet.

It's a strange idea of humor yes. But perhaps it's just a part of whom they are. We don't know much about their culture after all and like the Q maybe never.

I agree. It's never okay to call people names or insult them. [His smile dims as he gets serious.] That said comedy, at least when it comes to human comedy, occasionally involved lighthearted insults. However within those circumstances people have more of a tolerance over things that wouldn't fly in normal discussion. It's a thin line to walk along.

[He nods.] So I have heard. Do you enjoy it?

As far as I'm aware, yes. However I'm told that I'm taken from an earlier point in time. Supposedly I'm going to command my own ship in the future.

Enjoy isn't perhaps the word I'd use to discuss my duties but I am finding it a useful experience in my career. There are parts of it that can be....difficult at times, such as the lack of space and the annoying Ferengi bar keeper. Aside from that I am "enjoying" it.

I have met a mate though. Lieutenant Commander Jadzia Dax. She is my Par'Mach'Kai.
