In my defense, when I agreed to give Fury a vacation, no one told me how advanced their illusion tech got in the previous twenty-odd years.
Really, I’d say it turned out pretty well, all things considered. Except the whole ‘Parker’s identity is revealed’ thing, but we can handle that. Shouldn’t be too hard to convince people that a teenager going to space and saving the world is—what do they call it these days?—‘fake news.’
